What are the timings?+
Mon–Sat, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Closed on Sunday.
How do I book an appointment?+
Call or WhatsApp +91 90244 81422, use the Ask Chetas assistant, or fill the online form. We confirm by phone.
Do you offer online consultations?+
Yes. Secure video consultations are available for follow-ups, therapy and second opinions.
What should I bring?+
Previous prescriptions, medical reports and a list of current medicines.

Who is the psychiatrist at Chetas Counseling Center?+
Dr. R. K. Sharma, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry) – NIMHANS Bangalore, DPM (C.I.P. Ranchi), FIPS. He trained at NIMHANS Bangalore and C.I.P. Ranchi, served at IHBAS New Delhi and AIIMS Raipur, and is Consultant Psychiatrist at Ananta Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur.
Will I need medicines for life?+
Usually not. Many conditions are treated with therapy alone or medication for a limited period.
Are psychiatric medicines addictive?+
Most antidepressants and mood stabilisers are not addictive. A few sleep or anxiety medicines can be, so they are used briefly.
Do you offer therapy without medicines?+
Yes, counseling and CBT are available on their own when appropriate.
Privacy
Is treatment confidential?+
Yes. All consultations and records are strictly confidential and stigma-free.
Will my employer or school be informed?+
No. Information is never shared without your consent, except where the law requires it for safety.
Children & families
Do you see children?+
Yes, from about 4 years through adolescence, with parents as partners.
Can you help a family member who refuses treatment?+
Yes. You can meet us first for guidance on how to approach them.
